AIRPULL SORIA-GARRAY OPEN GLIDING COMPETITION 2022
The Soria-Garray Open Gliding competition 2022 will be held at the regional aerodrome of Soria-Garray in Garray and is open to any glider pilot who wants to participate, especially those who want to train for the WWGC2023. https://wwgc2023.org/
The following classes will compete:
- Club
- Combined Standard-15m (with handicap)
- Combined 18m-Open (with handicap)
Inscription period: January 1st to March 31st 2022
Pre-Inscription acceptance procedure
The maximum number of inscriptions will be of 60 participants and a maximum of 30 participants per class (Club, Std-15m and 18m Open).
On March 31 all the championship inscription requests, the requirements to participate such as flight hours, silver badge, inscription fee, etc. will be revised.
The class quota will be completed by order of inscription. When the limit has been reached, the candidate will be notified and he will be given a chance to participate in another class in which there still is space, if he wishes to do so.
FAE pilots will have priority over NON FAE pilots (foreigners).
Female foreign pilots will have priority over male foreign pilots, as it is a training event prior to the Women’s World Gliding Championship of 2023.
On April 15 the pilots will be informed about the definite acceptance of their inscription. Afterwards, a list of accepted candidates will be published on the championship website. From that date onward, all the unclaimed class positions can be claimed by any pilot.
Until June 1 class changes will be accepted if there are any positions free in such class.
Requirements to participate
Std-15m y 18M-Open class:
- PROFICIENCY LICENCE current.
- FEDERATION LICENCES current, as indicated in Annex1.
- FAI SILVER BADGE for gliding. para Vuelo a Vela.
- FAI DIAMOND FIXED DISTANCE BADGE for gliding.
- EXPERIENCE of at least 200h of flight in a glider as PIC
Club Class:
- PROFICIENCY LICENCE current.
- FEDERATION LICENCES current, as indicated in Annex 1.
- FAI SILVER BADGE for gliding. para Vuelo a Vela.
- EXPERIENCE of at least 100h of flight in a glider as PIC
